Please consult atleast 3-4 doctors before planning for IVF. Because we don't know whether our body will accept the medications or not. Particularly if you are below 30 and if you have PCO (Polycystic Ovary) you may get OHSS (Ovarian Hyper Stimulation Syndrome). Sometimes it will leads to death. If you get OHSS please make sure that the hospital has the advanced facilities and specialists for kidney, lungs & heart. Because in extreme cases the organs failure could happen. Out of 1000 people 20 have the chance to get OHSS. After egg retrieval your diet must have lots of water and proteins.

IVF failure and Death
This is my own experience and I want to make everyone aware of this. My sister lost her life in the IVF treatment. She died 6th day after egg retrieval. I know IVF is complicated, but I was not aware it would lead to death. I couldn't type now, my heart is paining and my eyes full of tears. I couldn't cry now, because I need to take care of my mom, who is already in anti-depression treatment.
My sister was just 29 yrs old, the money minded doctors spoke nicely and said she was perfectly fit for the IVF treatment. When my sister told about the treatment, I didn't like, but I said ok. Because I didn't want to disappoint her, she was very confident about the process.
Each and every process she informed me and I have checked online as well. She was given hormone injections, more than 20 eggs formed. After egg retrieval she got OHSS(Ovarian Hyper Stimulation Syndrome). She got breathing issues, less urine and vomiting. The doctors said those are OHSS symptoms and would be there for few days. But suddenly (on 6th day after egg removal) her pulse down and she couldn't breath. They shifted her to another hospital. The doctors tried for 2 hours and said they could't save her.
